Eins Zu Eins unveils ‘Never Stop Moving‘, a limited edition table by celebrated street artist MadC-a bold translation of movement, color, and control into architectural form.

Best known for her large-scale murals and vibrant color language, MadC (Claudia Walde) brings her dynamic visual vocabulary into three dimensions with Never Stop Moving, a statement piece that captures the energy of urban expression in a finely crafted object of design. Produced in a strictly limited edition of fifty pieces, the table marks a rare convergence of street art and collectible furniture.

The table’s construction is as considered as its composition. Made from lightweight engineered panels, each piece is laminated on both sides with custom, high-durability laminates-manufactured specifically for this edition by an industrial laminate producer. These surfaces are not painted or lacquered post-construction; rather, MadC’s original color schemes are embedded directly into the laminate material itself. The result is a table that is as robust and usable as it is visually striking-a surface as resilient as a kitchen countertop, engineered to withstand the demands of everyday life while retaining its vivid artistry.

I have been painting in the streets for more than 25 years, interacting with people who didn’t expect to come across art. Catching the spirit of experiencing art by surprise was my goal when creating this table.

MadC was born as Claudia Walde in Germany in the 1980s. Throughout 26 years of constant engagement with art, in the streets as well as in galleries, she worked her way up from a teenager starting off with a spray can to one of the world’s top urban contemporary artists. MadC’s monograph “From Street to Canvas”, written by Luisa Heese, was published by HENI London in 2021. Her canvases are exhibited in solo and group exhibitions worldwide and are sought after by art collectors. But she also always had this immediate connection with the street itself, which shows in the numerous colorful murals she painted around the world. MadC was invited to paint murals for Sinkka Museum in Finland, The Dulwich picture gallery in London, for the city of Abu Dhabi in the UAE and by the prestigious Mural Arts Program in Philadelphia, just to name a few.
Her most recent work can be found as a spectacular, permanent installation at the Hessisches Landesmuseum Darmstadt Germany, which was finished in May 2024. Also in June 2024, Museum Reinhard Ernst opened its doors in Germany, featuring five of her stunning glass pieces, produced by renown Derix Glasstudios. MadC has worked with the museum and Maki and Associates architects to create the permanent glass installations for the museum building.
MadC’s style has its roots in graffiti art, resulting in vividly colored, dynamic calligraphy and transparency where all layers shine through and thereby capture the energy of painting on a massive scale in the street, without using a direct graffiti language. Her unique use of color, composition and layering are perfectly paired with the spontaneously and fast painted lines of the calligrapher. The abstract paintings boast of energy and depths. They draw you in and capture the viewer in a universe universally understood, surpassing languages and cultures.
