Desigual’s Newspaper-Print Collection

Desigual has the newspaper-print collection every Carrie Bradshaw fan needs this summer.

As newspaper prints return to the fashion spotlight, DESIGUAL revisits one of its own signature house patterns, bringing back an iconic design rooted in the brand’s creative DNA.

Sleeveless Printed Dress

Desigual has the perfect newspaper-print dress for every Carrie Bradshaw fan’s wardrobe. While newspaper prints are once again dominating fashion, the Barcelona-born brand is revisiting one of its own most iconic graphic patterns, a design that has long been part of Desigual’s creative identity and now returns in a contemporary new silhouette.

Sleeveless Printed Dress

Few garments have left such a lasting mark on pop culture as the newspaper print dress worn by Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City. Worn during one of the series’ most memorable moments, it quickly became one of the character’s defining fashion statements and has remained an enduring symbol of fearless, playful style for more than two decades. Today, as Y2K nostalgia continues to shape fashion trends, newspaper print is making a major comeback, with a new generation rediscovering one of the most recognizable looks in television history.

Printed Strappy Dress

Rather than revisiting a fashion trend, Desigual is reviving one of its own signature prints. Featuring the Desigual name alongside graphic references to milestones in the brand’s history, the newspaper motif has been reimagined for today while remaining deeply connected to the house’s creative heritage. Applied to a lightweight sleeveless white midi dress, it blends archival inspiration with contemporary ease.

Printed Shirt

While the white midi dress is undoubtedly the hero piece of the collection, Desigual expands the newspaper print into a complete wardrobe that proves the trend goes far beyond a single iconic silhouette. Staying true to its creative DNA, the Barcelona-born brand transforms the graphic motif into a versatile capsule designed for women who embrace bold dressing while maintaining effortless wearability.

Printed Wide-leg Trousers

For those looking to make the newspaper print the focal point of their wardrobe, the collection also features structured dresses in both white and black, offering contemporary silhouettes that combine femininity with statement appeal. Whether styled with flat sandals for daytime or elevated with heels after dark, they embody the confidence and personality that have made this graphic print one of fashion’s most enduring obsessions.

Printed T-shirt 100% Cotton

The collection includes everything from printed T-shirts and asymmetrical one-sleeve tops to coordinating mini and midi skirts that can be styled together as matching sets or paired with everyday wardrobe essentials.

Asymmetrical Printed Skirt

Relaxed shirts and wide-leg trousers offer a more fluid interpretation of the print, creating striking total looks that feel equally suited to city days, holidays and late summer evenings. Every piece celebrates Desigual’s signature mix of color, creativity and self-expression, allowing women to embrace the trend as boldly or as subtly as they choose.

Ruched Newspaper Bag

The story continues through accessories, with newspaper print handbags providing an easy entry point into the trend. Designed to add character without overpowering an outfit, they bring the collection’s playful spirit into everyday styling and complete the look with Desigual’s unmistakable creative touch.

Medium Bag Lettering

More than simply reviving a cult print, Desigual celebrates the idea that fashion should be expressive, optimistic and unapologetically individual. This season, the newspaper print is not only making headlines once again, it is finding a new generation of women ready to make it their own.
