ELIE SAAB Bridal Spring/Summer 2027 unveiled a gallery of Tableaux Vivants (Living Portraits) as part of the official New York Fashion Week Bridal 2026 calendar.
ELIE SAAB Bridal Spring/Summer 2027 unveiled a composed series of Tableaux Vivants (Living Portraits), where stillness is transformed into a deliberate form of expression. Presented as an immersive gallery rather than a traditional runway, the collection reframes bridal as a curated work of art, suspended between presence and pause.
Set within the opulence of a Parisian palace, the presentation combined an exhibition on dress forms with a live performance component, creating a format in which each look exists independently, free from narrative distraction. The focus shifts entirely to silhouette, construction, and surface. Guipure lace redefines the classic ballgown with lightness and clarity, while sculpted bodices with curved basque waists introduce a renewed sense of femininity. A structured mikado design transforms mid-presentation, unveiling a sharply defined mini, while transparent, embellished mermaid gowns balance sensuality with restraint.
Details are treated as compositional elements rather than decoration. Ivory floral appliqués emerge from corseted structures, metallic latticework traces the movement of flared skirts, and voluminous capes introduce architectural contrast to clean satin lines. Elsewhere, embroidered silk and tulle gowns interact with light beneath softly diffused, petal-like veils, reinforcing the collection’s atmospheric quality.
Look 1 embodies an off-the-shoulder corseted mikado gown with a draped bust, flowing into a tulle skirt with floral guipure.
Look 3 evokes a corseted drop-waist tulle gown adorned with crystals.
Elegant yet intentional, ELIE SAAB Bridal Spring/Summer 2027 positions bridalwear as a sequence of controlled visual moments, where craftsmanship replaces spectacle and each gown asserts its presence with quiet authority.
ELIE SAAB BRIDAL Spring/Summer 2027 Collection Details
ELIE SAAB Bridal Spring/Summer 2027 Collection further expands its exploration of refined silhouettes through a balance of structure and fluidity, introducing strapless satin mermaid gowns with softly draped bustlines and optional lace overlays, sweetheart-neckline tulle mermaid designs enriched with intricate floral embroidery and complemented by detachable overskirts and high-neck lace boleros, and corseted guipure gowns that emphasize precision and texture, while sculptural mikado constructions evolve into draped mini dresses with extended trains and layered underskirts, alongside Chantilly lace ballgowns with corseted V-necklines and sleeves that reinforce a romantic sensibility; off-the-shoulder fully embroidered mermaid silhouettes and drop-waist mikado gowns with sculpted draping, lace insets, and subtle slits introduce a contemporary edge, as fully embroidered strapless A-line tulle gowns complete the composition with a sense of lightness, cohesion, and controlled volume.
