ART ACCESS returned to Miami Art Week on December 6, transforming Arlo Wynwood into a day-to-night cultural takeover. The program unfolded across sunrise wellness experiences, a women-led art exhibition, panel discussions, live performances, and an after-dark Higher Ground experience.
From morning run clubs to rooftop DJ sets, ART ACCESS was conceived as a full-spectrum creative platform, inviting participation rather than passive observation.
Miami Art Week at Arlo Wynwood
During Miami Art Week, with art lovers from around the world in town for Art Basel, Arlo Wynwood emerged as a creative hub where art, wellness, music, and community intersected. The hotel hosted a full day of activations that captured the rhythm, diversity, and forward-looking energy of the city’s most art-driven week.
As the first hotel to open in the neighborhood, Arlo Wynwood welcomed both renowned and emerging artists alongside locals and visitors, transforming the property into a multi-level canvas of installations, pop-ups, and live performances. The experience culminated in the Miami debut of Arlo After Dark, Arlo Hotels’ signature nightlife series.

The day opened with wellness-focused experiences, including collaborative art-run activities, coffee-fueled DJ sessions, and a yoga and wellness circuit designed to reset and energize guests. Afternoon programming celebrated creativity and empowerment through a women’s art exhibition, custom nail art, live screen printing, and a panel discussion titled “Women in Art, Women in the World,” presented by Prazzle Arts. The afternoon also marked the unveiling of FAME Magazine, adding a publishing and media dimension to the event’s multidisciplinary approach.
Event Highlights
The takeover featured installations and pop-ups by a diverse roster of artists, including Greg Mike, François Piacente, Jeronimo Gauna, Chuave Hernandez, SOTO, Nour Yaaqobi, and others, activating spaces across the Arlo.
In his recent LinkedIn post, ABV Gallery founder, artist, and designer Greg Mike shared the story behind his FAME Magazine cover, released during Miami Art Week at Art Access x Arlo. Speaking in his own words, he explained:
“I was recently asked by FAME Magazine to appear on their cover, released during Miami Art Week. Rather than treating it as a standard photoshoot, I proposed taking a more hands-on approach. I helped shape the visual direction, drew the cover art by hand, and built the moment around the same characters and universe I’ve been developing for years.
People have started calling this a ‘Renaissance Chapter,’ but to me it feels less like a pivot and more like a wider lens opening, where art, music, space, and community are no longer separate lanes, but parts of the same ecosystem.”

MADPOP is a low-calorie, low-sugar, all-natural sparkling craft soda created and designed by artist Greg Mike. A bold mix of fruits, herbs, and spices, MADPOP reflects the same creative energy behind his art: playful, expressive, and made to fuel the imagination.

In his recent Instagram post Miniature Artist François Piacente says:
“What I love about crafting miniature urban decay is that the artwork is always a work in progress. My art focuses on replicating life’s tiny details, and as the world evolves, so does my art, with new details added here and there.”

A third-floor gallery exhibition spotlighted women shaping contemporary creative culture, with works by Reyna Noriega, Florencia Clement de Grandprey, Jade Cassidy, and Sophie Wong. The exhibition underscored the event’s focus on representation, dialogue, and the evolving role of women in the arts.
Thibo Villeneuve, founder of DREAM OF DESIRE, presented his works at Art Access x Arlo, showcasing one-of-one painted jackets conceived as wearable narratives. His designs reflect a belief in art as a vessel for emotion, rebellion, and memory.
As evening fell, the program transitioned seamlessly into the Art Access x Arlo After Dark party, where music, movement, and visual art converged in a dynamic nightlife experience that carried the energy late into the night.
Immersive nighttime programming brought the hotel to life with live music by Brony Mixx Dance Project (BMDP) and Flagrant Drvms, movement-based performances, and visual installations, marking the official launch of Arlo After Dark in Miami.
