“Bolero Nights” served as both a personal and cultural statement. The collection celebrated Peñaranda’s Colombian-Venezuelan-American heritage while acting as a love letter to the romance and nostalgia of a refined, elegant era. The designer reaffirmed his signature design language of shine, sheer textures, and fluid silhouettes, introducing a mood that balanced sophistication with sensuality.

The show featured looks from his contemporary womenswear line, ARLU, alongside one-of-a-kind couture pieces from Atelier Peñaranda. Sustainability and cruelty-free production remained central to the brand’s ethos, with each garment created through mindful sourcing and responsible craftsmanship.

The Atelier Collection highlighted Peñaranda’s mastery of luxurious materials, from French bouclé, Italian silk, metallic brocade, organza, French lace, and crinkle chiffon to intricate hand-beaded embellishments. This rich textile foundation allowed the lineup to explore the tension between romance and structure through an interplay of embroidery, sequins, and printed suede, while silhouettes leaned decisively toward occasion dressing. Column gowns, open backs, and controlled cut-outs reinforced a confident after-dark narrative, as strong shoulders, tactile surfaces, and high-contrast embellishment anchored the collection in Peñaranda’s signature language: polished glamour with theatrical precision. The result was a body of work that felt avant-garde yet wearable, opulent yet emotionally grounded.

This season marked Peñaranda’s 33rd consecutive collection presented during New York Fashion Week, achieved with the continued support of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). This milestone places him among a rare group of designers of Latin heritage – alongside Oscar de la Renta and Carolina Herrera – who have maintained such sustained visibility on the global fashion stage.

With “Bolero Nights,” Peñaranda reaffirmed the foundations of his brand: luxury, refinement, exclusivity, repurposing, mindfulness, and kindness. The collection stood not only as a showcase of craftsmanship, but also as a reflection of a designer whose creative journey continues to evolve while remaining deeply rooted in identity and purpose.

Accessories Collaboration
For Fall 2026, BOLERO NIGHTS, Raúl Peñaranda deepened his creative dialogue with European accessories house Lonza, marking their second runway collaboration following the designer’s BLOOM presentation in September 2025. For this season, Lonza completed the collection with its signature heels, structured footwear, and refined handbags, grounding Peñaranda’s dramatic silhouettes with timeless polish.
With more than two decades of heritage and a strong foothold across Eastern Europe, LONZA SHOES has built its reputation on premium craftsmanship and sophisticated design. As the brand expands into the United States, its ethos remains centered on empowering women through pieces that blend elegance, confidence, and enduring wearability.
Jewelry Collaboration
Jewelry for BOLERO NIGHTS was created in collaboration with Colombian design house Awork by Andrés Sánchez. Known for its meticulous handmade approach, Awork produces each piece to order, reinforcing the collection’s sense of intimacy and artisanal value. The custom process allows up to ten business days for production, underscoring the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship over mass production.
With BOLERO NIGHTS, Peñaranda reaffirmed his commitment to craftsmanship-driven eveningwear while sharpening the brand’s red-carpet identity. The collection positioned texture, silhouette, and textile provenance at the center of the narrative, underscoring a vision of femininity that is both dramatic and deliberate.
