The highly anticipated tenth annual Blue Jacket Fashion Show took place on February 4, 2026, at 6:00 PM in New York City.

Founded by fashion designer Frederick Anderson and benefiting ZERO Prostate Cancer, the event brought together the worlds of fashion, entertainment, sports, healthcare, and media to openly address prostate cancer awareness, early detection, and education. The Blue Jacket Fashion Show was sponsored by Johnson & Johnson with support from LISC and Man Cave Health.

Marking its tenth anniversary and coinciding with World Cancer Day, the show brought together celebrities, advocates, designers, and public figures who modeled custom blue jackets representing the fight against prostate cancer and promoting open conversations about men’s health. Held at LAVAN in New York City, the event reinforced its ongoing mission to raise awareness while supporting research, education, and early detection initiatives.

With a strong emphasis on addressing racial disparities and reaching underserved communities, the Blue Jacket Fashion Show served as more than a fashion event. It functioned as a platform for meaningful conversations about a disease that impacts approximately one in eight men. The initiative was created to normalize discussions around prostate health and to reduce stigma around screening and treatment.

As part of the annual initiative, free prostate cancer screenings were offered across multiple New York City locations, reinforcing the event’s focus on real-world health impact beyond the runway. These screening efforts supported the broader goal of improving early detection and reducing mortality rates, particularly in communities disproportionately affected by prostate cancer.

Presented in partnership with health advocacy platforms such as BlackDoctor.org, the event extended its reach through educational content, livestream programming, and awareness campaigns designed to provide tools, resources, and strategies for healthier lives while connecting culture with healthcare education.

BlackDoctor.org (BDO) is one of the largest and most comprehensive online health resources specifically focused on serving African American communities. Recognizing that healthcare is not one-size-fits-all, the platform addresses the reality that Black communities experience higher rates of many major diseases and health conditions, along with shorter average life expectancies.
BDO acknowledges that the uniqueness of Black culture, including heritage and traditions, plays an important role in health outcomes. The organization also recognizes the historical and ongoing mistrust many people feel toward the healthcare system.
