Allen Edmonds, the iconic American footwear brand renowned for its century-long dedication to craftsmanship, reunited with Engineered Garments for the next chapter of its Legend Series collaboration.
Allen Edmonds x Engineered Garments’ latest release, the Bryant Park Double Monk, continues the brands’ shared exploration of American design through a modern, utilitarian lens.
Inspired by Engineered Garments founder and designer Daiki Suzuki’s enduring interest in American craftsmanship, the Bryant Park Double Monk reimagines one of Allen Edmonds’ archival silhouettes through a bold, hybrid approach-merging refined tailoring with utilitarian sensibility. Handcrafted in Port Washington, Wisconsin, the style features a distinctive combination of calf hair, scotch-grain leather, and suede, offered in deep black and dark brown colorways.
Each pair is constructed using Goodyear welt construction and finished with a Vibram® Newflex wedge sole, scalloped leather welt, and blackened metal hardware. A leather-lined, sheet-foam footbed provides both comfort and structure, delivering a contemporary interpretation of a classic form that honors Allen Edmonds’ heritage while reflecting Engineered Garments’ detail-driven, functional point of view.
This continued collaboration reinforces Allen Edmonds’ commitment to reinterpreting American classics alongside today’s leading cultural voices, uniting the brand’s storied craftsmanship with Suzuki’s distinct vision for purposeful, modern footwear.
The Bryant Park Double Monk is available in-store and online at AllenEdmonds.com and NepenthesNY.com.
