On Wednesday November 30th, Miami’s very own, Ema Savahl Couture, debuted their Spring/Summer 2023 Couture and Swim collection at the ART BY CHIMPS exhibit at New World Center for Art Basel.
In partnership with Miami Swim Week™ The Shows, the exhibit showcased 9 looks alongside a collection of abstract artwork painted by chimps and curated by acclaimed artist, Karen Bystedt. All proceeds from the event benefited Save the Chimps, a 150-acre refuge in Ft. Pierce for chimps rescued from labs and the entertainment industry.
Ema Koja, the award-winning, internationally acclaimed, creative powerhouse behind the Ema Savahl Couture brand, continues to push boundaries of wearable works of art and her Luminar designs are no different.
The collection is celebrated for employing stretch mesh and doable resin to create designs embedded with optical illusions that reform and manipulate the body. Ema sees beyond the visible spectrum of light to reveal the all too often unseen realm of unknow, a realm of spirituality and transformation, reflective of the inner flow of the human spirit.
The collection is available for custom orders exclusively at emasavahl.com
