What is Polki?

Polki diamonds are raw, uncut and unpolished stones originating from India, dating back over 2,500 years to the Mughal era. Unlike faceted diamonds cut for brilliance, Polki retain their natural, organic form – emitting a soft, romantic glow, warm in tone and individual in shape. Traditionally set in gold using the ancient kundan technique, they have long been prized for their rarity and worn as symbols of heritage and ceremony.
