Among the notables of the New York fashion world in attendance were FGI President and CEO Maryanne Grisz and CEO of Printemps America Thierry Prevost, among others. Sergio Soldano Creative Directors Giovanni Premoli and Dario Di Bella were present to personally introduce the collection, joined by Antonio Lemma, Founder of Desire Holding, S.A. Set within the magnificent Printemps New York in the heart of the Financial District, the presentation unfolded as an immersive journey into the world of Sergio Soldano. Guests ascended the grand staircase and arrived on the second floor, entering the Boudoir, an intimate space infused with a refined Art Deco atmosphere and unmistakable French allure, where they were immediately enveloped by the Maison’s distinctive universe.

The collection commanded the room with a carefully orchestrated mise-en-scène: selected looks were suspended overhead, others arranged along the perimeter, creating a powerful visual dialogue that framed the space. At the center, a live artistic performance brought the collection to life, as Sergio Soldano models interpreted the garments in motion, transforming the presentation into a living, breathing tableau.

A spellbinding violin performance by the renowned artist Lauren Cauley, paired with an evocative performance by vocalist Minda Larsen, elevated the evening, infusing it with emotion and theatrical intensity. The 107-piece collection, spanning luxury ready-to-wear, footwear, handbags, and accessories, unfolded as a complete narrative, allowing guests to fully experience the spectacle and emotion that fashion, at its highest expression, can offer. Rooted in refined Italian craftsmanship yet articulated through a contemporary, expressive lens, the presentation created a seamless dialogue between heritage and modernity, affirming Sergio Soldano’s renewed vision for urban, sophisticated life today.

The ascendant fashion house first drew attention during 2025 market week, cementing its partnership with Printemps New York and numerous other U.S. retailers and paving the way for its official New York Fashion Week debut.
Dario Di Bella, Sergio Soldano Co-Creative Director: “Both this collection and this evening are born from a deep belief shared with Maestro Sergio Soldano: that fashion holds an emotional truth and that it is one of the most authentic languages through which culture, memory and imagination can be expressed. Fashion is not only about form, but about feeling, gesture and storytelling. Being here tonight, surrounded by friends, supporters and partners such as FGI and Printemps New York, feels like the most meaningful way to honour that vision and to celebrate the return of the House of Sergio Soldano.”

Thierry Prevost, CEO of Printemps America: “The return of Sergio Soldano feels both timely and timeless. At Printemps New York, we’re drawn to brands that honor where they come from while confidently finding a new voice, and this collection reflects that spirit beautifully.”
Maryanne Grisz, FGI President & CEO: “Fashion Group International Inc. has always stood at the intersection of fashion heritage and future innovation. It is our honour to celebrate the Sergio Soldano legacy while supporting fashion leaders of the future like Giovanni Premoli and Dario Di Bella, as they, with the support of Desire Holding and in partnership with Printemps New York, chart an inspired new course for the house of Sergio Soldano.”

Introducing the Sergio Soldano Fall/Winter 2026/2027 Women’s Luxury Ready-to-Wear Collection
Comprising 77 garments and 27 accessories, the debut collection by Co-Creative Directors Giovanni Premoli and Dario Di Bella marks the house’s creative rebirth and establishes a new visual language for Sergio Soldano: one rooted in Italian artistry and emotional storytelling, yet decisively oriented toward the future.

Rather than revisiting archival silhouettes, the designers approach the house’s legacy as a living, evolving language. Every silhouette is newly conceived, with accessories and components rethought from the ground up and executed through elevated craftsmanship and hand-finished techniques, including painterly prints created through oil painting on canvas and transferred onto silk and other noble fabrics. These concepts and processes underscore the Maison’s Made in Italy ethos and artistic soul.

“It was never our intention to reference the past through literal forms or silhouettes. We see Sergio Soldano’s legacy as a living visual language, expressed most powerfully through the collection’s prints,” says Co-Creative Director Giovanni Premoli. “Here, memory becomes vision, and heritage is translated through elevated craftsmanship, new forms, and noble materials-shaping a renewed Sergio Soldano aesthetic rooted in Italian excellence.”
The collection unfolds across four macro-themes exploring adornment as a form of expression and renewal:
1st THEME: The Architecture of Black, the Revelation of the Anemone
Black opens the Fall/Winter 2026-2027 collection as an expression of a new elegance: deep, structured, and conscious. Through a sophisticated dialogue between leather, silk and artisanal craftsmanship, femininity takes shape in architectural silhouettes and sculpted volumes, where sartorial rigor and sensuality meet in perfect balance. The anemone, handcrafted petal by petal in fine leather, becomes the theme’s distinctive symbol: not a simple decoration, but an identity mark of rebirth and silent strength. This is a narrative written in noble materials, impeccable construction, and precious details that defines the Sergio Soldano woman as elegant, powerful, and contemporary, reaffirming the value of Italian savoir-faire within a new and profoundly modern aesthetic vision.
2nd THEME: Genoa: Return to Origins
The second theme of the Fall/Winter 2026/2027 collection is conceived as a return to origins and as a declaration of love. Genoa, the mother city of Maestro Sergio Soldano, becomes the beating heart of this narrative: the place where everything began and from which a vision capable of crossing the world first took shape. Here, memory becomes creative matter, territory turns into language, and architecture transforms into sartorial gesture. The palaces, monumental perspectives, and the silent strength of a city layered through time, already celebrated in the seventeenth century through the gaze of painter Peter Paul Rubens, are translated today into stylized graphic motifs on silk and voluminous, yet sculptural silhouettes. This theme embodies the Creative Directors’ intention to root the revitalized Sergio Soldano brand in its mother soil, reaffirming an indissoluble bond between the Maison and the city of Genoa as a symbol of rebirth.
3rd THEME: Squares in the City, Urban Geometries
With the third theme, Sergio Soldano translates the rhythm of the metropolis into sartorial language. The city becomes creative matter: urban geometries, squares transformed into patterns, and vibrant chromatic accents shape a dynamic and sophisticated wardrobe, conceived for a woman who is active, conscious, and elegantly free. Volumes dialogue with functionality, rigor meets lightness: city trousers, bustiers, silk shirts, kimono knits, and transformable coats compose a fluid and contemporary aesthetic. Each garment is designed to be lived in, crossed through, and inhabited. Lines are clean, materials enveloping, and proportions carefully calibrated. Here, fashion becomes urban yet remains deeply sartorial. “Squares in the City” expresses the new course of Sergio Soldano: a vision that transforms geometry into style, everyday life into beauty, and the energy of the city into an identity code.
4th THEME: The Time of Sinopia, Rebirth
It is the time of rebirth. It is the moment when memory meets vision. With “The Time of Sinopia,” Sergio Soldano enters the deepest and most symbolic territory of the Fall/Winter 2026/2027 collection: that of creative rebirth. This is a theme born of the desire to look toward the future through the eyes of Maestro Sergio Soldano, seeking to imagine what a new beginning would have represented for him, and how he would have translated it into stylistic language. Sinopia is not just a word: it is an original gesture, the mark that precedes the artwork, the invisible trace that guides creation. It is also a print, reinterpreted in a contemporary key, which comes to life precisely where everything began.
Beneath the porticoes of Via XX Settembre in Genoa, where the historic Soldano Atelier once stood, magnificent open-air frescoes unfold, accessible to all, affirming that beauty, like fashion, belongs to anyone who knows how to seek it. Below those painted ceilings, the Maestro would have passed every day en route to his Atelier. It is that visual fragment of memory, charged with emotion, that is transformed into the language of fashion and print, offering an intimate and respectful allusion to the Maestro’s gaze that lingers in memory and lives on in the collection.
The Sergio Soldano Fall/Winter 2026/2027 collection marks the beginning of a new chapter for the Italian fashion house: rooted in memory, yet a conscious new beginning moving decisively toward the future. Sergio Soldano doesn’t simply present a collection, but emotion, and invites the world to wear it. Under the Creative Direction of Premoli + Di Bella, the Sergio Soldano aesthetic renaissance affirms the value of the artful creative gesture, Italian excellence, contemporary vision, and the universal language of beauty.
