SMBR, a new women’s golfwear brand founded by avid golfer Amanda Sheppard, is thrilled to announce the pre-sale launch of its debut collection in July 2025.

SMBR empowers women to embrace their individuality with innovative designs that enhance both performance and style-creating pieces that transition seamlessly from course to everyday life. The debut collection, Genesis- meaning the origin of something new-features three tops, three skirts, and one dress, each in two considered colorways. The pieces embody sleek, graphic color-blocking with rich earth tones and bold accents, symbolizing new beginnings and the breaking of boundaries.

Behind the brand is Amanda Sheppard, an avid golfer and former hospitality lead for Canucks Sports & Entertainment. Frustrated by the lack of stylish golfwear options, she created SMBR to merge her love of the game with an eye for modern fashion and thoughtful design.
SMBR stands for “SYMBER”-a nod to Sheppard’s nickname and a reflection of the brand’s core: boldness, identity, and individuality. The lioness emblem is a symbol of quiet power-a reminder that sport is more than competition; it’s community, challenge, and selfexpression.

The brand exists for women who bring style and individuality to everything they do-including how they play. As the game evolves and more women take up space in golf, SMBR meets that energy with substance-offering apparel that performs while reflecting the confidence, clarity, and character of women with a love for the game. Everything is built with purpose. Crafted from high-performance European fabrics made from pre- and post-consumer waste, each piece offers UV 50+ protection, moisture-wicking properties, four-way stretch, and shape retention. Manufactured in the United States, SMBR is committed to quality craftsmanship and supporting local industries. The brand will release small, mindful capsule collections-intentional drops that prioritize sustainability, wearability, and storytelling over excess.

SMBR will be available exclusively online at www.smbrgolf.com. U.S. shipping will begin in late July 2025, with expansion into Asia and Europe to follow. Sizes 2-10 will be available at launch, with extended sizing in the pipeline. Average product price: $140 USD.
