Luxury Meets Sustainability on the Runway using Econyl®, a regenerated nylon fiber made from reclaimed ocean waste.
At Miami Swim Week, a new chapter in sustainable fashion began as Aventura Swimwear made its highly anticipated runway debut at PARAISO Miami Swim Week.

The show, held on Sunday, June 1st, marked the official launch of the brand’s Signature Collection, which is a captivating lineup of eco-luxury swimwear that blends refined European design with an uncompromising commitment to ocean conservation.

Founded by Croatian entrepreneur Erik Leutar, Aventura Swimwear is rewriting the rules of resort fashion. Inspired by Leutar’s upbringing along the Adriatic coast and his academic work in marine pollution, the brand is a love letter to the sea and a bold call to action. “We’re showing that sustainability doesn’t have to mean compromising on luxury or style,” said Leutar backstage. “Our designs empower women to feel confident while protecting what they love.”

Where Craftsmanship Meets Conscience
The Signature Collection is handcrafted in Italy using Econyl®, a regenerated nylon fiber made from reclaimed ocean waste, including fishing nets and plastic bottles. The result is a line of sleek, sculpted swimwear in vibrant hues and bold prints, offering timeless silhouettes for the modern woman who demands both style and sustainability.
Each look on the runway served as a testament to the brand’s design philosophy. The collection was minimal yet powerful, flattering yet conscious. With every stitch and detail, Aventura delivered a statement: fashion and ethics can and should coexist.
A Runway Standout: Preslie Ross
Among the standout moments of the night was model Preslie Ross, who graced the runway with poise and polish. Known for her versatility across pageants, campaigns, and runway work, Ross elevated Aventura’s debut with a magnetic presence. “Preslie embodies the Aventura woman,” Leutar shared. “Confident, modern, and unapologetically bold.”

A Brand with a Vision
While the Miami Swim Week debut marks a pivotal milestone, Aventura Swimwear has its sights set on more. The brand launched its direct-to-consumer e-commerce platform earlier this spring and plans to expand into resort wear and accessories later this year.

With its roots in Croatia and production anchored on the Amalfi Coast, Aventura Swimwear combines world-class craftsmanship with a mission that resonates: turning ocean waste into elegance and making sustainability synonymous with sophistication.
