TAFT Launches Exclusive Mental Health Awareness Collection in Honor of World Mental Health Day.

Destigmatizing mental health issues is a challenging journey, but taking that first step in starting the conversation is paramount. On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, TAFT, renowned for its unique footwear creations, is stepping outside the box and unveiled a limited-edition clothing collection. This initiative not only brings awareness to a cause that resonates with countless individuals but also contributes a portion of its proceeds to support mental health charities.

“At TAFT, we understand that balancing business and personal mental health struggles is a daily battle,” says Kory Stevens, co-founder of TAFT. “It affects absolutely everything I do – my emails, my meetings, my phone calls, my interactions. Inspired by Kory Stevens’ personal mental health journey and his battle with depression, TAFT proudly introduces the Mental Health Awareness Collection. This collection comprises six thoughtfully designed styles, each dedicated to normalizing conversations about mental health and encouraging individuals to seek help without fear or judgment.

“The vision for the future of this collection is just offering more products more often,” adds Kory Stevens. “Historically, we have targeted World Mental Health Day or National Suicide Prevention Day, but the collection has resonated with so many people that we will make it more a part of our story. The mental health focus has, in the past, been limited to social media. Now we are trying to figure out how to make it more of our identity everywhere the brand lives.”
