L.A. singer-songwriter, Laura Michelle, has recently produced the video for her musical knockout, “Chuck Norris” a whimsical pop anthem about unleashing the kung-fu master that lies within us all.

The video styled by Jill Christiansen, is studded with the “Rockstars” of fashion including: Alexander Wang, Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Christian Louboutin, Rolex, Jimmy Choo, and Henry Bendel.

Co-written by Laura and Writer-Producer Jim McGorman, Chuck Norris single is the first off of Laura’s upcoming debut album, “Novel With No End”, and sends a core message to her audience about self-empowerment and authenticity.

The video stars Chuck Norris, who was a deep source of inspiration and bonding for Laura and her father, as their favorite past time was watching Norris’s Walker, Texas Ranger. At age 15, Laura, tragically lost her father and found her self dealing with more grief than a kid that age could handle. Over the next few years a culmination of hard work and destiny lead to this iconic music video collaboration between Laura Michelle and Chuck Norris.

The new single and album was produced by an all-star line up of two-time Grammy winner Jarrett Zellea (Luther Vadross, Santana, Jay-Z). Jim Gorman (Avril Lavigne, Shakira) co-produced and co-wrote several tracks with Laura as well. Multi-Grammy-winner Rafa Sardina engineered and mixed, while a stellar group of musicians played with Laura on the new album, including drummer Mark Slutsky (Pink, Grace Potter, Kylie Minogue) and bassist Jon Button (Roger Daltrey, Sheryl Crow, Shakira).

About Laura Michelle

A native of Danville, a suburb in the East Bay of Northern California, Laura started singing before she could walk. She delved into recording when she got to high school, and began writing her own music when she moved to LA as a post grad. She soon formed a band that began performing original songs across Southern California and up the California coast. After meeting Producer, Jarrett Sellea, Laura began writing her debut album. Songs include smart rockers and poignant ballads such as the title track “Novel with No End,” a tribute to her late father.
