British jewelry brand ChaLuMu was born from the founders’ own experiences of living with anxiety and PTSD. Founded by lifelong friends Megan Marlow and Natasha Makara, the brand grew out of their shared experience of navigating everyday life as two single mums while managing anxiety behind the scenes. For years, anxiety was something both women quietly carried through daily life, moments of overwhelming thoughts, social anxiety and the constant feeling of being on edge. After discovering breathing necklaces, they began using them themselves during anxious moments. The concept worked, but the designs available felt very plain. So they redesigned them.
