Celebrating ten years of artistic bravery, MINDTHEGAP introduces TRANSYLVANIAN RHAPSODY, its Ten-Year Anniversary Extended Lifestyle collection inspired by the unique multicultural heritage of a land shaped by centuries of shared histories.
Named after King Charles III’s great-great-great-grandmother, CLAUDINE harbors the grace and daring of a Transylvanian noblewoman whose life bridged local heritage and European courts. Stylized florals and ornate motifs ripple across walls like embroidery from a bygone manor, the details revealing the subtle weight of authentic land’s textiles. Up close, delicate veins and shading reveal the care of a practiced hand, while from afar, the pattern tilts the room toward itself.

Two deer stand sentinel while a resting donkey keeps watch beneath towering fir trees, their bodies adorned with decorative embroidery that transforms them from simple animals into celebrated figures of folklore. A WOODLAND TALE depicts the innocent charm of folk art: spiraling florals in vivid reds and oranges, delicate white bells nodding on green stems, tulips rendered in bold strokes that preserve the artist’s expressive touch. Set against Cream and Anthracite backgrounds, the scene anchors the bond between humans and nature where animals were honored through decoration and the forest provided the perfect backdrop for the story.

Florals, symbolic motifs, and layered patterns draw from our homeland’s embroidery and folk textiles, where rich color once brought warmth and joy to everyday life. Spanning wallpapers, fabrics, cushions, furniture, lighting and framed art, TRANSYLVANIAN RHAPSODY forms a complete, extended lifestyle universe designed to be layered, mixed, and lived in. Hand-drawn by MINDTHEGAP’s permanent in-house design team, the patterns reflect a distinctive visual language recognised worldwide for its expressive strength and unmistakable identity.
The Saxon village Alma Vii in Transylvania, where fruit-laden orchards have flourished for centuries, lends its name to this psychedelic celebration of countryside abundance. Meandering bands of vibrant color flood the fabric with patterns that reveal the generosity of the land, reminding of folk memory where orchards symbolized prosperity and connection to one’s roots. Brought into the interior, ALMA introduces vitality, allowing rooms to feel truly bohemian.
