Yumi Katsura, the pioneering Japanese bridal designer celebrated for blending traditional Japanese artistry with modern bridal elegance, unveiled the Fall/Winter 2026 Bridal Collection with a runway show on Monday, October 13th, at New York Bridal Fashion Week.
A modern reverie of the Gilded Age unfolded on the runway, as Paulette Cleghorn unveiled a collection that felt both regal and romantic, sculptural and fluid. Bridal silhouettes shimmered with orchestral precision – metallic laces, baroque textures, sweeping trains, and masterfully tailored corsetry echoed the grandeur of a bygone era, now reimagined for the modern bride. Every gown moved like music.

Paulette Cleghorn, Designer and Creative Director of Yumi Katsura NYC, describes the Fall/Winter 2026 Bridal Collection Symphony as follows:
“Our Yumi Katsura Fall 2026 Symphony collection is a modern reverie of the Gilded Age-a dialogue between past grandeur and future vision. Inspired by the decadence and drama of 19th-century fashion, the collection reinterprets the era’s sculptural silhouettes, sumptuous fabrics, and intricate ornamentation through a contemporary lens. Each piece harmonizes historical romance with architectural nuance, transforming opulence into motion. In collaboration with visionary accessory designers, the collection features dandy-inspired accents, elegant fur elements, and radiant halos with futuristic regalia that lend a celestial, otherworldly edge.”
Symphony is both an ode and an evolution-a celebration of contrasts where the lessons of the past compose the music of tomorrow.
