The Metropolis Series is the line designed by C.P. Company inspired by the values of the iconic Metropolis jacket, part of the Urban Protection project launched in 1999.
Characterized by tone-on-tone branding, functional pocket systems, high-performance fabrics, and the use of advanced manufacturing techniques, The Metropolis Series represents C.P. Company’s vision of Urban Agility.
For the FW24, the Metropolis Series collection offers versatile silhouettes suitable for any urban context. The pieces are made with sophisticated engineered fabrics and technologies to ensure all-weather protection and functionality, such as A.A.C., MetroShell, Gore-Tex 3L INFINIUM, and Pertex®.
The textile innovation embodied in the Metropolis Series is well represented with A.A.C., a piece dyed polyester-nylon microfiber with a water-resistant coating. The garments are laser-cut and bonded with heat-sensitive adhesives, reducing the seam allowance by 50%. For the FW24 collection the A.A.C. Hooded Parka and Hooded Jacket, feature a removable down lining, hidden two-way full zip fastening with flap closure, and side zip pockets.
Pertex® is an ultra-lightweight nylon fabric composed of a breathable hydrophilic ripstop membrane. The standout piece in the selection is the Bloom Down Jacket, made with a fully customizable structure. The Pertex® garments have been designed with Baffled technology, which, through the redesign of the internal tunnel and the use of thermally bonded tapes, instead of traditional seams, eliminates cold spots and prevents feather loss, enhancing the garment’s insulation performance, complemented by Primaloft® Evolve insulation.
GORE-TEX 3L INFINIUM, rooted in the total urban performance, guarantees high levels of breathability, water resistance and windproof protection. For the FW024, it has been used for items featuring new technical details, such as Velcro pockets on the sleeve, heat-sealed seams and a removable down lining, ideal for year-round use.
The Metropolis Series is available in C.P.Company flagship stores, selected retailers and online on cpcompany.com

In 1971 Massimo Osti, a young graphic designer from Bologna who would go on to be recognized as the “godfather of urban sportswear,” founded the brand Chester Perry, famous for its screen-printed t-shirts. In 1978 he changed the name in C.P. Company. This drier, more mature name inaugurated one of the most explosive and influential bursts of creativity in the history of sportswear.
Over the last decades the brand has continued to pioneer a connoisseurial hybrid style that combines the functionality of vintage military, work and sportswear with intense fabric research and innovation, heightened by using garment dyeing, a technique which C.P. Company was the first brand in the world to pioneer in the mid- 1970s. This hybridization of functional menswear and Italian fabric innovation is the origin of C.P. Company and still today remains the basis of every piece of clothing to carry the C.P. Company label.
