Gilley, the viral umbrella start-up that has successfully launched as a Kickstarter campaign at the end of 2023, now selling to customers across 46 countries.

1 Billion umbrellas go to the landfill annually, but Gilley is forever. Meticulously crafted to stand the test of time, it lasts and can conveniently accommodate tracking technology on the paracord – in case old habits die hard.
Gilley team believe in longevity and creating an umbrella of high-quality, so it doesn’t fail on you and need replacing. Their focus has been on sustainability through durability and longevity, as it is more efficient to produce something once that will last for years.
It’s taken two years of development alongside an award-winning east-London based design firm and dozens of prototypes to get to this launch. We’ve got big plans to build on our successful launch and make rainy day woes a thing of the past.

Dry after use
The canopy features superior quality fabric with a hydrophobic coating designed to instantly shed rain. Additionally, it’s absorbent fibre cap for moisture absorption and non-rusting materials make for stress-free storage in the watertight case.
Case doubles as handle
Forget flimsy umbrella sleeves, the Gilley features a leak-proof hard case complete with a unique screw in, screw out system providing a more ergonomic handle with a soft-touch section for comfort and grip.
Lightweight, compact and sleek design
Designed for a city- sidewalk coverage of one or two people, it collapses down to a hard case that measures 10 inches by 2 inches, and weighs less than a pound – that’s thinner, and lighter than most reusable water bottles!
Windproof
Double-layered canopy coupled with durable materials comprising the arms/mechanism make the umbrella wind resistant over 30mph.
Gilley retails at £49 RRP, but available with 25% off in April. Gilley comes in royal blue, with silver or light green-cyan accent colors on the case.
