Gunia Project presents garments, accessories, and home décor, seamlessly blending heritage with contemporary living. Every piece emerges from a symphony of authenticity and design, meticulously crafted to integrate into everyday life’s fabric seamlessly.

Mermaid

The new collection ‘Mermaid’ – a visual essay about summer narrated through ceramics, accessories, and jewelry. This collection illustrates the feelings of dreaminess and serenity, the memories of the enchanting seaside which we will surely return to. A mermaid is the main character of our summertime world, a coherent progression of the ‘Sirens’ collection. This time, our work originated from the artistic materials of the 17th-19th centuries and their medieval graphics visual quality.

Accessories and ceramic objects are as well embellished with scenes from the life of mermaids, who are displaying the hand gesture of the Trident of Chornovil. The events take place against the backdrop of the Vedmid-Hora mountain. This collection features an image of figs, which stems from The Fountain of Tears in Bakhchysaray.

Vesna 2023

The ‘Vesna’ collection is a natural rendition of traditional Ukrainian costume, a creative reinterpretation of antique jewelry and accessories. The visuality of the collection explores objects of decorative and applied arts, intertwining tradition with originality in embroidery, prints, and shapes.

More than 40 artisans from Kyiv, Irpin, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, and the Kirovograd region are involved in the manufacturing processes of this collection. Our items are made all around the country and abroad by Ukrainian craftswomen.
