When I met Krista Rääk on the Internet, I wanted congratulate her art work and wonderful designs with an article to share with our others. You'll agree with me, when you visit her website – which is an online boutique as well.

Inspired by the Victorian era and Art Nouveau, Krista has started making embellished handbags only a few years ago because of not finding a purse suitable to an eveningwear. Then she started to create few more bags, some were gifts to her friends. She liked making embellished handbags and besides started to earn money when she offered these bags for sale at local boutiques. Every single bag was different from the other, all kept unique and exiting.

As a former jeweler, she could not resist the idea of making jewelry out of those brocade, silk and lace scraps with the leftovers of those embellished handbags.

After that she started to look around for interesting vintage materials to use them in her fabric jewelries as well.All chokers, brooches, cuffs and necklaces Krista has made are also one- kind - it and keeps creativity while her imagination is always alive when she starts with new ideas every time.
"Usually when I start with new idea it takes 3- 5 days to complete middle size bag, bigger bags I make sometimes about a week or even more", says Krista about the time it takes for a bag to create and continues "I prefer to dye and/or hand paint materials for decorations myself, because it's sometimes hard to find right colors for delicate nuances."

I might say that every fabric could be preciously crafted at her hands and transform into a wonderful accessory or art piece jewelry.
