The jewelry piece designed by Pallavi Dudeja Foley (modeling her jewelry) was amongst 11 award � winning entries short listed as a result of the national competition. "The Odyssey" was selected for the Diamonds 2004, Vivaha Collection. Handcrafted in 18k gold and diamonds, this piece is a masterpiece of craftsmanship. The inspiration is unique, diverse and original.

"The Odyssey", is made of 4908 diamonds and it has a combination of a variety of diamond cuts, shapes and colors. It also uses black diamonds, enhancing the contrast between the two sides of the neckwear. The Odyssey is a description about the evolution of a person, through ups and downs in life, finally emerging beautifully�. just like the journey of a diamond.

Introducing India's leading jewelry designer Pallavi Dudeja Foley (28) with her selected, award winning jewelry designs. Pallavi Dudeja Foley has a unique and sophisticated point of view in jewelry design where diamonds and pearls perfectly match with karats of gold.

She's studied at 'The National Institute of Fashion Technology' (NIFT) in New Delhi, India through 1997-2000. Her exposure in "jewelry design" at the Domus Academy- Milan, Italy, enhanced her academic and professional skills.

Pallavi Dudeja Foley has won many National and International Design Awards and has created jewelry collections for prestigious projects and for her jewelry brand; “Pallavi Foley”. She won Bright Sparks Diamond Jewelry Design Competition, by DE BEERS in 2000 while she was a student at NIFT. She won the First prize at the Indian GURLZ Diamond Jewelry Design Competition in 2001, for designing a unique fashion jewelry accessory.

Pallavi Dudeja Foley was selected amongst the 100 finalists internationally, for the Gold Virtuosi 2002, for designing an ensemble inspired by animal fur. This piece was handcrafted and it captured the beauty of animal fur in gold, with due respect towards saving the wild life on our earth. Made from 22k gold "FUR" included a neckpiece, a stole, anklets and ear studs, weighing approximately 1.5 kg. It’s taken almost 2 months to manufacture at the Tanishq factory (India’s national Jeweler) where she’s been designing jewelry from the past 6 years. She worked on various collections & design projects at Tanishq while experimenting with different looks, products, materials and customer segments.

At the following years, she won two “Swarovski Elle Décor Design Awards” in 2003 & 2004, for innovative uses of crystals in lighting design with her products; Chandelier – ‘Web Light’ (2003) and Chandelier – ‘Robbed’ (2004). She was selected as a Young Achiever by MTV Music Television in 2003.

She won the Third prize in the International Titanium Design Competition in 2004, for a necklace design, which has many colors of titanium, titled “The Chameleon”. She won 1st and 2nd prizes at The Tahitian Pearl Trophy 2005. Winning prize in the 10th Samshin International Diamond Jewelry Design Awards this year and she’s currently working on making the final product.

Pallavi Dudeja Foley’s career as a jewelry and accessory designer is full of design awards. It’s certain that she’ll win many more.
