February 12, 2011 - Celebrities from all around the world love to wear Andreas Eberharter's jewellery and we love to feature his success stories.
When I heard his name and featured his collections in 2007, it was certain that he'd be more popular in the near future. Within these four years, Andreas Eberharter's jewellery designs hit so many people's hearts just as I thought.. His designs have been seen on many celebrities and to name a few of them can be as follows; Lady Gaga used the Paparazzi Eye Patch in her "Paparazzi" video, Beyoncé wore one of his bracelets for the photo shoot for the Essence Magazine, Kiera Chaplin presented his collection, Pussycat Dolls used his jewelry for another magazine shoot and lately his Holy Eye Patch is used by Turkish Pop Singer Tarkan on his "Acımayacak (meaning 'It Won't Hurt')" video.
Andreas Eberharter's jewellery possesses an idiosyncratic congeniality. And so do those who wear it. They are self-confident, strong personalities who appreciate individuality and who are down to earth.
AND_i also designed the AND_i patches for Thierry Mugler Homme FW 09/10 show, Paris.
More than 50 million viewers have watched the sensational Paparazzi video from pop icon Lady Gaga on youtube alone. The final scene, in particular, features a metal eye patch from AND_i that fits the ultra-modern, provocatively sexy styling of the video exquisitely. Ever since, these eye patches, masks and headpieces, that alluringly conceal parts of the face, have been a 'must have' on the international fashion scene.
“I don't follow trends”, claims Eberharter, who founded the label in 2001. “AND_i is authentic and original and this concept has been really well received.”
It seems appropriate therefore, that AND_i is readily used in the styling of the most celebrated, fashion-forward celebrity of our time, however, Eberharter's creations are not just for celebrities and editorials.
Pieces from the 'Ready to Wear' collections are available from just 40 euros and are the perfect embellishment for edgy yet relaxed everyday wear.

Sculptures for the body
As a professional goldsmith and sculptor with a strong affinity to painting, it is not surprising that Eberharter stands at the crossroads between fine art and jewelry design.
Dexterously sculptural forms are a feature of many of his pieces and he works directly on the mannequin to develop the objects in relation to the body. The material and its feel are essential to his creative process and the culmination is bold and uncompromising design that is easily recognized - a unique aesthetic that fuses tribal and science fiction effortlessly. |
