| Trend Spark is going on holiday, so here is one last post for the summer. We will be back in September with reports from the Spring Summer 2009 catwalk shows. In the meantime, here are a few things to things to think about as the summer comes to an end and we all start to think of our Fall Winter wardrobes. |

 I usually like to buy one pair of shoes that gets me through the entire winter, usually a pair of boots with a great heel but one low enough to wear every day.
This year I'll be checking out Belstaff, whose footwear is both practical and looks great. Known for their traditional British motorcycle gear, Belstaff has recently introduced some incredible shoes and boots. The Urbanmaster, pictured here, is one of my favourites, really sturdy and practical, but still cool.

 Chanel will definitely be winning my "Best Hoisery" award for Fall Winter 2008.
The two tone logo tights are probably the only items I will be able to afford out of their collection.
That is, if they are actually going to be in shops and, if so, not already sold out.
Can Chanel do anything wrong?

 I have yet to find the ultimate nail polish but Marian Newman's new line sounds like it might be worth a try. Her nail watercolors, called the Inkredibles, are little ink-filled brushes.
You paint on the color, let it dry for 10 seconds, then cover it the Wrapture Topcoat, and wash off any smudges.
Sounds way easier than the bottle and brush system. Marian has worked with all of the top photographers and models, and Tatler magazine describe her as "Marian Newman is to nails what Karl Lagerfeld is to frocks" so I am sure this legendary manicurist's products won't disappoint.
