Melissa, Brazil's famous rubber shoe brand, has just announced collaboration with Zaha Hadid, an architect recently famed in the fashion industry for her collaboration with Chanel for the mobile art gallery. This isn't the first time Melissa has worked with a designer or artist, Vivienne Westwood, Alexandre Herchcovitch and Judy Blame have all created versions of the ultra comfortable, affordable rubber shoes.
This collection will be available in eight colors, and will launch during London Fashion Week (to be yet another Dover Street Market exclusive.) "The fluidity of our design combined perfectly with the technology of Melissa's plastic, injecting pieces without closures or seals", explains Hadid. They look pretty cool, and the best part is that Melissa shoes are cheap and super comfortable!

DC Comics has announced collaboration with New York designers Alice Roi, Laura Poretzky and Shoshanna Gruss.
Entitled Supergirl, the resort collection will feature dresses, tops, and skirts with the Supergirl S-shield logo discreetly branding each piece.
The Superhero trend has been featured heavily in fashion collections recently, inspired by New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art's Superhero costumer exhibition. "I am hooked on superheroes.
They are both real and fantastical, which is what I think we all should aspire to be in some way," commented Roi. Unfortunately, I don't think there will be any capes...
