Leathers
Aside from the usual leather accessorises and jackets, this Spring Summer we will be buying leather dresses , tops, and even one pieces. Colours include tans, browns, and blacks. |

Minimal
90s minimal is back for Spring Summer 2010. Clean lines and simple styling were seen at Cacharel, Celine, and Givenchy. |
 |
 |
 |
 |
Rounded Shapes
Rounded silhouettes and sleeves were seen at Alexander McQueen, Gimabattista Valli, and Yves Saint Laurent. |

Evening Whites
Instead of bright colours or pastels, Spring Summer 2010's evening wear will include a lot of white. Chloe had layered sheer fabrics, while Givenchy had ruffles and Hussein Chalayan's best red carpet piece was a simple white full-length number. |

OTT
Designers went Over The Top with ruffles, gathers, and feathers this season. Giambattista Valli has a dress whose top was an explosion of feathers, while Lanvin and Stella McCartney played with giant ruffles, and Nina Ricci and Givenchy covered their dresses with ruffles. |

Nude
Skin tones were abundant on the Paris catwalks, seen on dresses or total looks at Valentino, Lanvin, and Yves Saint Laurent. |
 |

Trumpet Skirts
Flirty trumpet skirts graced the catwalks of Stella McCartney, Viktor & Rolf, and Valentino. |

Children's Prints
Paris' designers showed a great deal of young, childlike prints and textile designs. See spiders at Giles, Strawberries at Yves Saint Laurent, and naive floral embellishments at Chanel. |

 |
Lingerie
Look to Christian Dior, Nina Ricci, and Jean Paul Gaultier for lingerie-inspired pieces. |

Dishevelled
While some designers favored over the top, or minimal look, there were a few who showed dishevelled models walking down the catwalk. Look to Ann Demeulemeester for her messy drapes,
Balmain for ripped t-shirts, and Peachoo + Krejberg for disorganized pleats. |
