Paris Autumn/Winter 2009 Menswear Collections Trend Round Up | Part II

Geometric Quilting

Carrying on from the "Trousergate" scandal in Milan, quilting was a major finish on the Paris catwalks, but in geometric shapes, seen on jackets and trousers.

White Trousers

Despite a domination of dark colors on the Paris catwalks, white and cream colored trousers were in abundance.

Gothic

Gareth Pugh is know for this style, however Ann Demeulemeester and Rick Owens also favored a gothic look on their catwalks.

Grey Marl

Seen on anything but sweatshirts, grey marl could be found in Lanvin and Dries Van Noten's collections.

Artisan Knits

Statement knit pieces by Ann Demeulemeester, Yohji Yamamoto, and Junya Watanabe all had an artisan, hand-crafted feel.

Berry Tones

Raspberry, Cherry, and Cranberry tones were used in key pieces and as accents.
