[Vienna, Austria], May 1, 2006 - Rococo fashion reinvented by young designers. Mozart would have loved these coquettish and splendid clothes.
438 designers from all continents have sent their - often erotic – ideas for the theme "Dress up for Mozart – Rock up Rococo!". An international jury of experts has selected 7 designers for the Triumph International Fashion Award 2006.
The public voting for the "3 Finalists" starts now on fashionoffice.org/triumph and lasts until 20th July 2006.
The theme of the Award "Dress up for Mozart - Rock up Rococo! Modern Tribute to Rococo Fashion" has motivated 438 designers from Germany, Austria, France, Ireland, Russia, to China and India, USA and Australia to join. More than 1,500 sketches were submitted.
Designers from Iran, Chile, Israel, Vietnam, Azerbaijan, South Africa, Siberia, Philippines, … show with their spectacular designs the individual approach of different cultures to the theme and how Mozart is experienced in the various regions of our world.
Seductive lingerie in connection with creativity and fashion evokes surprising representations of an erotic, glamorous and elegant Madame Pompadour.
The submissions are from designers trained at renowned schools like the FIT in New York, Domus Academy in Milan, Central Saint Martins College in London, ESMOD Munich, Berlin. So we can say that this competition represents with its participants the most important schools in fashion worldwide. Even such prominent ones like Central Saint Martins College have announced the Award on their website.
