Lollipops Paris, the French trendy accessories brand introduced in Scandinavia by Style Agency, through Nordic Bag and Shoe Fair, 19-20 August, Stockholm, Sweden.
Marjorie Mathieu and Yann Ducarouge, met in school , while both were finishing their MBA's in Paris. Afterwards, Yann pursued a career in sales , while Marjorie continued studies at FIT, in NYC.
After Marjorie's return to Paris, and a stint at the design house of Daniel Hechter, Yann and Marjorie joined forces, and Lollipops was born in February, 1994.
For the first three years, the two concentrated on penetrating the French market with their delightfully styled bags , made from fashionable fabrics. It was a new concept for an industry previously dominated by expensive leather handbags. Philosophically, Lollipops falls closer to that of the garment industry, where fashion trends are embraced, and designers are always pushing the envelope by creating newer, more innovative fabrics and designs. Within this arena, Lollipops emerged to create quite a sensation. Each year sales have doubled, and Lollipops handbags began to find a market well beyond France.
Today, these delicious handbags are sold all over the world. It would seem that the concept of adding a bag, that reflects the style of the moment, without investing a small fortune, has caught on. As a bit of candy temporarily sweetens your taste buds, so a Lollipops bag "sweetens" the overall look of today's fashionable woman.

The founder, Semmi Özelbir, style agency has had a past in multi corporate companies such as Ericsson as business and marketing manager for many years. After leaving Ericsson in 2003 Semmi has taken on her passion for ladies fashion, especially shoes and bags with a portfolio that are based on her own and her 4 years old daughter Jadem's favorites.
