This season, the mix of classic British designers and fresh design talent is as exciting and eclectic as ever. Among the established international names are Amanda Wakeley, Margaret Howell, Betty Jackson, Ghost and Paul Smith. Philip Treacy will be making an intriguing comeback to the schedule with his collection for Umbro.
Designers receiving New Generation sponsorship by Topshop for a catwalk show are Gareth Pugh, Richard Nicoll. Basso and Brooke, Sinha-Stanic, Roksanda Illincic, and c-neeon. On the LFW catwalk for the first time is ISSA, the Brazilian label famous for striking jersey print dresses, Boy George's fashion label B Rude and the sleek and socially responsible Danish design label Noir.

London is renowned for fostering and developing new creative design talent through initiatives such as New Generation. This season another focal point for talent scouts will be the Central Saint Martins MA show, on schedule for Saturday, February 18 th .
