London Fashion Week | Day 4

London Fashion Week | Day 4

Monday 22nd February was the fourth day of Autumn/Winter fashion, which felt even more appropriate as the weather took a turn for the worse. But despite the downpour, people remained loyal and still turned up to the shows.

Nicole Farhi was first of the day but her show didn't particularly brighten the mood. Her collection was chic and sophisticated as per her usual French style but it didn't blow me away.

Black patent panels on trousers and skirts was a reoccurring theme that developed into an entirely black patent bandeau knee-length dress with ruched centre gathering.

Simple camel coats with skinny belts defining the waist were elegant and a red leather wrap skirt with side tie put some color into the collection. Her last dresses ended the show on a high note with two calf-length sheer black dresses with dispersed gold sequins.

At Antonio Berardi Autumn/Winter was far more glamorous with a number of sophisticated black dresses.

My favorites were three black and white monochrome knee-length dresses, creating curvaceous optical illusions.

Another favorite of mine, and possibly Lady Gaga too, was a floor length sheer lace dress with peek-a-boo black briefs and suspenders. I don't think I would brave the cold in it but I'm sure she would.
