Fergie Joins QVC in the Fight Against Breast Cancer

October 1, 2010 - QVC and the Fashion Footwear Association of New York (FFANY) are once again joining forces to broadcast QVC Presents "FFANY Shoes on Sale" a charitable shoe sale to benefit breast cancer research and education.

This October, visit QVC for name-brand shoes for less. You'll find a new discount shoe online every weekday starting October 1, 2010.

This year's program is scheduled to air on QVC Friday, October 15, 2010 from 7 PM to 10 PM (ET).

This year, Fergie, renowned artist and member of the six-time Grammy award winning group The Black Eyed Peas, has joined the fight against breast cancer as the 2010 Spokesperson for QVC Presents "FFANY Shoes on Sale," lending her support in the PSA as well as offering shoes from her new collection during the broadcast.

For the past 16 years, QVC Presents "FFANY Shoes on Sale" has sold over 1.5 million pairs of shoes and has donated more than $32 million to the cause.

In recognition of October as Breast Cancer Awareness month, QVC, the Fashion Footwear Charitable Foundation (FFCF), and the Fashion Footwear Association of New York (FFANY) have joined forces to raise money for breast cancer research and education. This year during the three-hour broadcast from QVC Studio Park (with footage from QVC Presents "FFANY Shoes on Sale" in New York City), QVC will offer more than 100,000 pairs of designer shoes at half the manufacturer's suggested retail price.

Net proceeds from "FFANY Shoes on Sale" and special QVC Shoe of the Day segments will benefit breast cancer research and education.
