rooms 24: Autumn/Winter 2012/2013 Collection

[New York], December 5, 2011 - Launched in 2000, rooms is an international fashion and design trade show, held as the first show to kick off season and save the dates for the next show which will be held through 21 - 23 February, 2012.

With two shows each year, rooms has held 23 show till this date. All exhibitors are screened for their creativity and originality, with 300-400 brands exhibiting.

rooms offers a wide range of items including womenswear, menswear, accessories, product, as well as kid's wear and art.

rooms also dedicate a space to promote up-and-coming designers. The show also offers exciting events such as art exhibitions, fashion shows, and parties. rooms continues to evolve as not only a trade event, but a venue for cultural communication.

The origin of this title "rooms" stems from their idea that each Creator/Designer has an idea or a concept to transmit to the world around them. And for each Creator/Designer, rooms wanted to provide a 'room' to exhibit those ideas. Therefore, a gathering of those 'rooms', have become their "rooms".

The key to "rooms" is originality.

Each room is an intersection for buyers, journalist and designers, which may lead to a new business opportunity.

Furthermore, "rooms" will serve as a community building space - space where ideas and originality meet and one's senses are stimulated. They encourage new kinds of networking and communication.

"rooms" is not only a business opportunity space - they are facilitators of global communication and inspiration.
