[London], July 14, 2012 - Scoop International Fashion Show, Europe's most dynamic and creative fashion industry event revealed over 240 UK and International premium, directional and contemporary labels at its fourth edition at the iconic Saatchi Gallery between 8 - 10 July 2012.

The move to an earlier date has proven to be a successful move, putting Scoop International firmly at the forefront of the industry fashion tradeshow calendar with buyer footfall numbers up by 10% from the last edition in February 2012 (read more). The fact that the show was the first on the UK fashion calendar was seen as a positive by both buyers and exhibitors, with many designer labels opening a large number of new accounts at the show from both the UK and overseas.

Karen Radley, Founder and Managing Director of Scoop International says, "the fourth edition of Scoop International has been the busiet yet, with an increase of over 240 labels showcasing, proving that Scoop International is firmly on the International fashion industry's calendar. Visitor numbers have risen year on year with buyer attendance from department stores, multi-brand and independent boutiques. We hope to see you at Scoop International for the fifth edition on 10-12th February 2013".

Premium retailers visited the show included; Harrods, Matches, Browns, Fenwick Stores, Fortnum & Mason, Liberty, House of Fraser, Urban Outfitters, Harvey Nichols, Net-A-Porter and ASOS, to view the industry's best directional and contemporary womenswear, footwear, jewellery and lifestyle collections.

Simon Burnstein, CEO of Browns comments, "Scoop International continues to surprise with new designers and fresh ideas in a very comfortable and inspiring setting".

Lucy Wernick, representing Mother Denim, Rebecca Taylor and Velvet by Graham & Spencer at Scoop International, adds "Scoop International was a huge success from many angles, stunning venue, beautiful brands, great organization and a draw from all the best shops! Good business was done there".

Chiltern Street Studios who represent Odd Molly and Rose & Rose; owner Denise Tavernier comments, "Scoop was a joy to exhibit at, the perfect environment with fantastic buyer attendance from the likes of Feathers, Matches, Browns, Bernards, Emporio in Worchester, Foundation Cheltenham, to name only a few".

The event showcased labels including; Rebecca Taylor, Mooiloop, Libelula, Vilagallo, Bill Amberg, Liebeskind, As Know As, DL1961 Premium Denim, Dr Martens, Essentiel, Filippa K, Givenchy Accessories, Goat, Harris Wharf London, Lara Bohinc, M0851, Nicholas King, Odd Molly, Peridot London, Plein Sud, Just in Case, Swedish Hasbeens, The Jacksons, Vivienne Westwood, to name but a few.

A significant number of labels chose Scoop International to launch either established or brand new labels into the UK market including; Gwen Stefani's label L.A.M.B., Levi's Made & Crafted made their first appearance at Scoop, Rosemary Goodenough exhibited beautiful twill/silk scarves taken from her original oil paintings, Bluelab from L.A. and their amazing reversible denim with on trend patterns, colour and texture, other labels first to show included; Rachel Zoe Shoes, Matilda & Quinn, D-Due, Hoss Intropia and Del Cima.

Scoop International

Scoop is a boutique tradeshow, showcasing emerging and established directional fashion designers. Bringing together more than 150 international apparel, footwear and accessories labels in London's iconic Saatchi Gallery.

Launched in February 2011 Scoop International is the only UK show dedicated to contemporary and premium womenswear, accessories, footwear and lifestyle brands.

The current Saatchi Gallery exhibition, Gesamtkuntstwerk: New Art from Germany, will remain in situ during the Scoop show, offering visitors a private viewing of work from the country's leading lights in painting, sculpture and installation.
