Like the autumnal leaves that slowly appear then are suddenly everywhere, the new trends in men's fragrances have arrived in shops and are being vigorously promoted in numerous magazines, newspapers and websites.
Confirming the conservative trend that vetiver pre-announced during the spring and summer months, the predominant autumn and winter fragrances for men will be mostly based on another traditional scent: wood.
From observing the market, it seems that very few designers have not embraced wood-based scents for their 2010/11 fragrances. The scent evokes traditional autumn colours such as brown and olive tones that mirror the hues in menswear garments produced by the fashion designers who put their names to the fragrances.
