The fusion of fashion and function in high-end handbags.

Rebecca Ciccio Handbags - Melrose Trio Melrose Trio

The Fall 2006 Collection offers structured styles, soft dreamy leather, a rich color palette and the finest hardware available.

Distinctive hardware, eyelet details, pretty satin lining, magnetic closures, a cell phone pocket, and zippered compartments that help keep you organized are just some of the details Ciccio focuses on.

Ciccio studied painting in the United States and Italy before she landed at Nine West in New York City where she launched her career in fashion design. After a brief stint with Nine West she designed accessories for Tommy Hilfiger , and then Old Navy in their New York offices. Her favorite item when designing collections was always the handbag. She left Manhattan in 2001 for San Francisco in pursuit of a California lifestyle, and spent the next four years designing for Circa Corporation, a private-label belt manufacturer. Her clients included Gap, Old Navy and J. Crew, among others.

In 2005, she left Circa as a senior designer to return to her roots in handbag design. She wanted to focus on luxury handbags with an emphasis on quality and craft. Ciccio takes pride in the craftsmanship of each bag made by hand no attention to detail is ever overlooked. After just one collection, Rebecca Ciccio is sold in a number of upscale boutiques, and online at rebeccaciccio.com. Her bags range from hobo styles to the chic and timeless. Her new Collection will include cross-body bags and clutches. Ciccio lives near San Francisco with her husband Steve, and their two dogs Kobi and Maguire.
