 String Republic / BSIDED: The Artificial Sneaker

Stéphane BUCCO is at the origin of new concepts. He is a graphic artist and has first created the String Republic brand. He wants to illustrate what happens when graphic arts and daily life merge.
The concept is simple : see an old product like the espadrille differently !
String Republic is proud to collaborate with graphic artists of all over the world and who gets involved to customize them !
On the other hand BSIDED is an "Artificial Sneakers" brand which has the advantage to be able to raise the famous "Made in France", so praising the French know-how !
BSIDED is between the traditional rope-soled sandals and a more trendy and fashion touch with the sportswear side of the sneaker. Rope-soled sandals are accessories perceived as "has been" and the concept here is to revitalize them.
The shoes are designed in the Basque Country, hand sewn by seamstresses home. They bring the biggest care to the selection of their fabrics doubled (cotton+polyester printed in France).
The sole is in rope braided to which they add one against rubber sole to stiffen and protect the bottom of the shoes while keeping the maximum of lightness and comfort! |
